CONGRATULATIONS 2015 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR WINNERS
2015 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
2015 NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR
ACRA BUSINESS, NON-PROFIT, & ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD PROGRAM
The purpose of this program is to recognize excellence in businesses in the Roaring Fork Valley.
The ACRA Businesses of the Year is a long-standing program designed to recognize business excellence in the Roaring Fork Valley. It’s a chance to overtly appreciate organizations that value and reach unparalleled quality, consistency and service.
New this year, we will also be honoring an Entrepreneur of the Year. This award is designed to highlight and honor an individual who is outstanding in their field. This business owner should be innovative, driven, and resiliant, and exemplify the Aspen Idea.
These awards are chosen by special committee, and will be presented at the ACRA Wintersköl Awards Dinner on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017. Applications will be accepted from Tuesday, November 1st through Wednesday November 30th. Please contact Claire Sacco at (970) 920-7131 with any questions.
Nominations for the 2016 Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year and Entrepreneur of the year are now closed. We hope to see you on Wednesday January 11th, 2017 at the Winterskol Awards Dinner to honor the 2016 winners.
Applications are for one of the following awards:
1. Business of the Year. Must be in continuous operation for at least five years. Awarded to the business that has shown profitability, growth and sustainability along with a commitment to community service.
2. Non-Profit of the Year. In operation for at least two years. Recognizes a non-profit organization that has developed a close partnership with the Roaring Fork Valley community as a means to achieve its mission.
3. Entrepreneur of the Year. Open to any entreprenuer in the Roaring Fork Valley who is a member of the Aspen Chamber. In operation at least two years. Please note that this is a different application from the Business and Non-Profit of the Year applications.
Applicants must be current ACRA members in good standing. All entries are confidential and will be reviewed by an appointed committee composed of business and professional persons in the Aspen area. While creativity is encouraged, selections will be based on the evaluation of the responses to the questions, presentation and content. If your business has previously WON an award through this program, you must wait a 3 year period since winning the award, before applying again.
Winners receive (2) two tickets to attend the 2016 Wintersköl Awards Dinner for the awards ceremony where they will be honored. Winners will also be recognized in the Aspen Daily News and The Aspen Times, announced on local radio stations, and interviewed on GrassRoots TV. Winners will be placed prominently on the ACRA website, Chamber Business Directory, and membership brochure.
