ASPEN ART MUSEUM

Located within the heart of downtown Aspen, the Aspen Art Museum rents indoor-outdoor event space at the rooftop café boasting panoramic views of Aspen mountain. Outside of rental hours, the café is open for lunch for guests to enjoy. Attendees may visit the museum admission-free to stroll international contemporary art within the award-winning Shigeru-Ban-designed building. (3,248 sq. ft. of event space)

 

ASPEN ICE GARDEN

The recently renovated, rink transforms into a dry-floor event space with seats for up to 150 guests. Located minutes from downtown, the Aspen Ice Garden has become a favorite among event planners—it is home to the Aspen Antiques and Fine Arts Fair and the Art Aspen every summer. The garden is available to rent during the winter and summer months. (16,000 sq. ft. of event space)

 

HOLDEN-MAROLT MINING & RANCH MUSEUM

A mining and ranching museum, the Holden-Marolt Museum holds rich industrial and agricultural Aspen history and provides planners with a private event space set against a backdrop of historic mining buildings and lush landscapes. The outdoor grounds accommodate up to 250 people. Built in 1891, the historic Holden-Marolt barn houses mining and farming artifacts and machinery demonstrations for visitors to enjoy while on site. (4,000 sq. ft. of event space; docent-led tours available)

ACES HALLAM LAKE NATURE CENTER

Spanning 25 acres of nature preserve, the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies at Hallam Lake boasts wide-open spaces—indoor and outdoor—for events hosting up to 75 people. Guests are invited to explore the beautiful scenery and wildlife as well as the indoor nature center. (2,500 sq. ft. of event space)

 

ASPEN SHAKTI SHALA

Aspen Shakti is a yoga school and studio that encourages and inspires guests to live their best life and connect with the mind, body and spirit. Private event and meeting rentals are available during business hours as well as on the weekends. Members receive rental discounts, as renting to guests who believe in their mission and have a connection to the space are greatly appreciated. (2,300 sq. ft. of event space)

SUNDECK ON ASPEN MOUNTAIN

Host a meeting located atop Aspen Mountain at the Sundeck for breathtaking views of the Continental Divide and the Rocky Mountains. The open-design event space boasts 30-foot ceilings and a cozy fireplace. Able to accommodate up to 500 people, the venue is available for evening events in the summer and winter. (5,300 sq. ft. of event space)

 

WHEELER OPERA HOUSE

The Wheeler Opera House is Aspen’s premier venue providing the ideal facility for keynote presentations, private screenings and social occasions. Seating up to 504 guests, the classically designed theatre is fully equipped and is able to easily adapt to the imagination of every meeting or event. For those seeking a smaller space with the same grandeur, the recently renovated Wheeler Bar Lobby hosts up to 105 guests. The venue is perfectly situated downtown, making city-wide events easily accessible. The opera house is unavailable for rent mid-June through mid-August. (30,000 sq. ft. of event space)

 

PINE CREEK COOKHOUSE

This elegant event space, nestled within the Ashcroft Valley meadow, is customizable for groups of all celebrations and sizes. The Pine Creek Cookhouse specializes in private events fit for every party type—celebratory dinners, weddings and corporate events for up to 160 guests with tent space for up to 250 guests. The log restaurant boasts an elegant four-course meal selection. In the winter months, the restaurant is reached by horse-drawn sleigh or cross-country trails. In the summer and fall, guests can arrive by vehicle at the restaurant’s front door. (7,500 sq. ft. of event space)

 

ASPEN INDEPENDENCE ESTATE

Three homes rest on a private estate spanning 160 acres just ten minutes from downtown. This beautiful property is a haven for planners seeking privacy and serenity for corporate events and retreats. Experience a true taste of Rocky Mountain living year-round with serene views and on-site activities, including fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, paddle-boarding, kayaking and tubing. THE CHAPARRAL RANCH

This exclusive ranch is tucked away within the mountains of the Roaring Fork Valley. With 48 rentable acres, The Chaparral Ranch offers year-round venue accommodations with private, panoramic mountain views located 15 minutes from downtown Aspen. The ranch is a state-of-the-art horseback riding facility with indoor and outdoor riding arenas and backcountry trails, which welcome events of all kinds—rain or shine. The indoor arena is 12,185 sq. ft. and the flexible outdoor space allows for multiple tent options.
