"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."  Aspen is filled with sights and sounds that can take your breath away - and no - it's not just the altitude!

1

The Maroon Bells are the most photographed mountains in North America. Visit them on your own before 8am or after 5pm, or take the bus between those hours to understand why all shutterbugs are infatuated with these peaks.

 2

The Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is a nationally recognized dance company and a leader in the dance world in terms of repertoire, acquiring and commissioning work from top choreographers; but it is also one of the largest dance presenters in the country. Enjoy one of their performances at the Aspen District Theater.

 3

The JAS Labor Day concert is live music in a one of a kind venue. At the Snowmass Town Park world-renowned musicians like Michael Franti, Steely Dan and Sheryl Crow perform against a Rocky Mountain Backdrop.

 4

Gateway Canyon Scenic Air Tours will give you an aerial tour of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley.  It is amazing what this different vantage point will do for your understanding and appreciation of our natural beauty.

 5

Theatre Aspen provides award-winning performances each summer in a unique setting. This year the Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park is home to Mamma Mia! (6/24-8/20), Buyer & Cellar (7/7-8/19) and Dear Edwina (7/15-8/13).
