Indeed, McGegan’s infectious enthusiasm and the 20-year-old violinist’s “big, plush tone and lots of dynamic contrasts and drama” made for a “winning night of Vivaldi,” according to the Los Angeles Times. this program features a fresh take on Baroque gems, including works by many French composers, including Rameau and Lully, and including two of Vivaldi's sparkling violin concertos played by Porter.
