Join ACES to celebrate fall at our annual Harvest Party at Rock Bottom Ranch on Saturday, October 13th from 12PM - 4PM!
Each year, ACES invites the Roaring Fork Valley community to honor the harvest season at Rock Bottom Ranch. This event is a fundraiser for environmental science education, particularly focusing on sustainable agriculture. In Colorado, industrial agriculture is one of the largest contributors of greenhouse gas emissions - the most significant driver of climate change. ACES' education programs provide opportunities for all ages to learn about the importance of ecosystem health, land stewardship, crop rotation, carbon sequestration, animal welfare, and energy efficiency.
At Harvest Party, this all ages event features lunch, live music, and fun activities around the Ranch. Guests will enjoy pumpkin carving, apple cider pressing, hay rides, farm tours, face painting, traditional ranch games, dancing, a "green" silent auction, and more. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
