Alpine Skiing & Schools

Alpine Skiing & Schools

It's no wonder Aspen become an iconic ski destination with four world-class mountains within ten minutes of the authentic downtown core. Aspen MountainAspen HighlandsButtermilk, and Snowmass each bring different attributes to the atmosphere, and combine to create the best skiing in Colorado. Locals and experts swear by Aspen Mountain's steep glades and bump-runs, big-mountain enthusiasts gravitate to Highlands because of Highland Bowl (the hands-down best in-bounds, big-mountain terrain in the state), beginners and X-Gamers end up at Buttermilk, and families love Snowmass.

Aspen Skiing Company's website is a great resource, and you'll find a ton of top-notch ski shops and retailers around town to get decked out and ready to schuss in style.
