Monday, February 4

History Ski Tour: Aspen Highlands (11 a.m. and 1 p.m., guest service cabin outside Merry Go Round). Ski with a local historian to learn about Aspen Highlands’ “maverick”, innovative, and unique past. These tours meet every Monday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tours are free, but a lift ticket is required to get to the meeting location.

Tuesday, February 5

Time Travel Tuesday: Paint “Bayer” Number (5:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House). Join the Aspen Historical Society in their Time Travel Tuesday programming. This Tuesday you are invited to discover the history of Bayer’s Bauhaus-influenced style by recreating one of his works of art. This program will pair history, cocktails, and creativity.

Wednesday, February 6

ACES: Potbelly Perspectives (7 p.m., Hallam Lake). Wednesday’s Potbelly Perspective will feature local photographer Devin Pool as he tells his stories of seeking out perfection in wild places. The talk “Finding Strength in Wild Places: A Photographer’s Guide to Resilience” will spotlight Devin’s story and showcase a slideshow of all of Devin’s favorite photos.

Two Friends at Belly Up (8:30 p.m., Belly Up) Spend your evening dancing away with the masterminds behind viral remixes. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the box office.

Thursday, February 7

Winter Music Recital Series with Jennifer Koh (6:30 p.m., Harris Concert Hall). Join the Aspen Music Festival this Thursday evening with acclaimed violinist Jennifer Koh and Shai Wosner on the piano. Purchase tickets online here.

Friday, February 8

Friday Morning Uphill Breakfast Club (8:45 am, Cliffhouse Restaurant on Buttermilk Mountain). Earn your breakfast in this Uphill Social. Uphill skiers are invited each Friday morning to enjoy breakfast in the Cliffhouse restaurant after hiking up the mountain. Breakfast is available until 10:45 a.m. and is $12.

Retro Film Series: Decades of Skiing Aspen/Snowmass (5:30 p.m., Limelight Hotel). In partnership with the Aspen Historical Society and the Limelight Hotel, explore skiing’s illustrious past in the Aspen/Snowmass area. This community features a wide range of vintage films from the Aspen Historical Society collection. Food & beverage specials will be offered at the Limelight bar during the screenings.

Saturday, February 9

Guided Tour at the Aspen Art Museum (1:00 p.m., Aspen Art Museum). Spend your afternoon at the Aspen Art Museum in this free spotlight tour led by museum staff.

Sunday, February 10

Owl Creek Chase (9:00 a.m., Snowmass Cross Country Center). Participate or watch in this challenging, fun, and scenic race. The 21K course starts in Snowmass and follows the Owl Creek Trail to the finish on the Aspen Golf Course.

Grant Farm plays Tom Petty at Belly Up (8:30 p.m., Belly Up). This Cosmic Americana band will be playing Tom Petty’s Damn the Torpedoes (40th anniversary) and other originals this Sunday night. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the box office.
