Winter Music Recital Series: Marc-André Hamelin Piano (6:30 p.m., Harris Concert Hall). Celebrate classical music in the winter with Pianist Marc-André Hamelin as his unique blend of musicianship and virtuosity brings forth interpretations remarkable for their freedom, originality, and prodigious mastery of the piano’s resources.

JAS Café: Ola Onabule (through March 2nd, The Little Nell). Bring some Jazz into your Friday night with Ola Onabule who writes music exempt from cliché and reminiscent of the great songwriters of the 60's and 70's. Audi Power of Four Ski Mountaineering (6:00 a.m., terrain across Snowmass, Buttermilk, Highlands, And Ajax). Start your morning with this premier endurance race that utilizes the unique terrain across all four Aspen Snowmass Mountains.
Community Winter Warm Up (1:00 p.m., Aspen Center for Environmental Studies). All ages are invited to warm up this winter with art and nature at ACES’ Hallam Lake. Enjoy a naturalist-guided outdoor adventure and cozy up indoors at hand-makery station inspired by contemporary artist Margaret Kilgallen. Complimentary cookies, hot cocoa, and cider provided.
Sunday, March 3
Colorado Junior Freeride (8:15 a.m., Aspen Highlands). Come catch the excitement as the Colorado Junior Freeride returns to Aspen. Skiers ages 12 to 18 will tackle a challenging course in the Highland Bowl at Aspen Highlands. Spectators are welcome to check out the action from the perimeter of the designated venue.
Arte en Español (3:00 p.m., Aspen Art Museum). Drawing on the wealth of Spanish speakers in the Roaring Fork Valley, the Aspen Art Museum presents an afternoon of activities for all ages, entirely in Spanish. Featuring guided tours, family art-making activities, and more, this special event is free and open to the public en Español.
North Mississippi Allstars at Belly Up (8:30 p.m., Belly Up). This southern rock band founded by brothers Luther and Cody Dickson will have you jammin’ out all night! Purchase tickets at the box office or online here.
Monday, March 4
History Ski Tour: Aspen Highlands (11 a.m. and 1 p.m., guest service cabin outside Merry Go Round). Ski with a local historian to learn about Aspen Highlands’ “maverick”, innovative, and unique past. These tours meet every Monday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tours are free, but a lift ticket is required to get to the meeting location.
