Halloween celebrations in Aspen begin with family friendly events at the Pitkin County Library. Preschoolers ages 3-5 can enjoy Halloween story time at 10:15 a.m. with story time for toddlers ages 2-3 following at 10 a.m. All ages can enjoy treats to eat Halloween-style after school from 2:30-4 p.m.
The annual Boo! Bash Halloween Celebration will take place at the Aspen Fire Station from 2:30-5 p.m. Presented by Aspen Elks Lodge #224, Aspen Recreation Center Department, Red Brick Center for the Arts, and the Aspen Fire Department, the afternoon will include free snacks, painting, clowns, games, art activities and more. Make sure to come dressed in costumes for prizes (both kids and adults)!
Rock out at Belly Up with 80's cover band The Spazmatics. The annual costume contest returns with cash prizes, music perks and more. First place of the costume contest will receive $500 in cash and $500 in Belly Up tickets, second place will receive a $250 gift certificate to Matsuhisa and $250 in Belly Up tickets, and third place will receive $250 in Belly Up tickets. Caribou Club will offer a special Halloween themed dinner for members ($75 prix fixe dinner), and open their doors to the public after dinner for an outrageous evening Caribou style for their annual Halloween bash.
Join 7908 for their first annual "Suffer Club" party and benefit for Aspen Fire Department and Mountain Rescue Aspen. A full ticket costs $250 and features bottomless libations, passed appetizers and food stations from 6 - 10 p.m. At $125, a ticket can be purchased and donated to a firefighter or Mountain Rescue volunteer. After 10 p.m., patrons may purchase a "late-night" admission ticket for $25, which includes a specialty Halloween cocktail. Proceeds from the night will benefit the Aspen Fire Department department and MRA.
Enjoy music from DJ DC and Halloween specials at Mi Chola. This popular Halloween spot is a guaranteed good time. The party starts at 9 p.m.
Head to Aspen Public House for their second Halloween party this Wednesday featuring DJ Knuttybird at 7 p.m. and Berkel Beats headlining the night at 9 p.m. The party will be cover-free with drink specials.
