Six° Leads Networking Group

What is Six°?
You've heard the theory that every person in the world is no more than six steps away from each other? We believe the same holds true for Aspen business professionals! Since 2005, the Aspen Chamber's Six° organization has made networking with other business professionals in the Aspen area possible with our bi-weekly leads meetings. Our group expands your business contacts and helps fulfill personal career objectives through cooperative interactions with other members.

What is a "leads" organization?
A leads organization targets business owners and managers who are actively seeking to grow their businesses. Our primary goal is to generate active sales leads and establish a wider network for the members of the group. Each member is encouraged to bring a referral to each weekly meeting.

How many businesses make up each group?
The ability to proactively reach out and create networks through other business leaders is key to the group's success. Therefore, only one person from any single type of business is allowed to participate. However, there are many openings in a variety of business categories! Call the Aspen Chamber to see if your professional category is available.

When does Six° meet?
The group meets biweekly at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at the Limelight Lodge on Monarch Street in Aspen. Nighttime gatherings take place on occasion. At each meeting members are asked to make presentations on their product/service for the membership on a rotating schedule.

What kinds of presentations do members make at Six°?
Members are required to schedule a 15-20 minute presentation on his or her business on a rotating schedule. In addition, at each meeting members will give a 60-second presentation about their business and what qualifies as a good lead for them. The member presenting the program should emphasize what constitutes a good lead for them.

How can I join?
If you are looking to grow your business, improve sales and developing long-term relationships with other Aspen professionals, contact the Aspen Chamber to see if there is an opening for your business in the Six° leads group. Dues for each Six° member is $200 annually.
