McCloskey Speaker Series: Richard N. Haass

"War of Necessity, War of Choice: A Memoir of Two Iraq Wars"

Richard N. Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations, former director of policy planning for the Department of State under Colin Powell from 2001-2003, and special assistant (and senior Middle East advisor) to President George H. W. Bush. Dr. Haass will speak about his book -- a personal account that is part history, part memoir -- of the same title.  Paepcke Auditorium, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Tickets on sale July 14.

The McCloskey Speaker Series features leaders who have a far-reaching impact on society.  The series is made possible by a generous donation from the McCloskey Family Charitable Foundation and is open to the public.
