Explore Hunter Creek in the winter with Jim Kravitz, Director of Naturalist Programs at ACES. We will start our day with at Hallam Lake with an introduction focusing on winter weather and local geography. Then we head out on a snowshoe adventure up Hunter Creek to investigate the stories of animal and plant survival in winter. In the field we will concentrate on winter tracking, basic snowpack study, and animal and plant survival strategies.
