Outside in Aspen

The inaugural Outside in Aspen was a success! Outside Magazine and the Aspen Chamber Resort Association launched a participatory adventure weekend, June 11-13, 2010, filled with outfitter-led adventure including mountain & road biking, fly-fishing, kayaking, rafting, trail running, hiking, rock climbing and stand-up river paddling for all skill levels. The weekend also included parties, base camp featuring Outside's Gear of the Year, a symposium with professional adventure athletes, including world class big mountain skier Chris Davenport, Olympic Gold Medalist Tyler Hamilton, Everest climber and photographer Jake Norton, Mountain Guide and Everest Climber Melissa Arnot and extreme kayaker Jesse Coombs, as well as Outside personalities. Leave No Trace is the non-profit event beneficiary.
