The Aspen Chamber Resort Association is pleased to announce this year's winners of the 4th of July Parade.
Parade entries were judged by:
Mayor Steve Skadron, Councilwoman Ann Mullins, Former Mayor Helen Klanderud.
The parade Grand Marshals: Dale & Charlotte Paas.
The Paas Family owned and operated the popular Limelite Lodge from the1960s until 2010. The passion of the Paas Family about the Aspen community has been reflected by their years of service to the Aspen Chamber Resort Association. Dale served as an ACRA Board member and his guidance contributed much to building and broadening the upper valley's lodging reputation of unmatched personal service for community visitors. We are grateful to the entire Paas family who have all performed incomparable service to enrich the Aspen community fabric.

- Parking in Aspen will be extremely limited. Ride RFTA, walk or bike for a stress-free day! Bus info is available at 970-925-8484 or at http://www.rfta.com/.
- FREE parking will be available at the Brush Creek Park & Ride with free and frequent bus service to and from Aspen.
- The Cross Town Shuttle will operate until approximately 11pm from June 27-July 4 to accommodate various festivities. The last departure from the Music Tent will be at 10:45pm.
- Your bus may be rerouted during the 4th of July parade, call or check the web for more details.
- Be sure to comply with all posted parking regulations and watch for special parking and street closures to avoid a ticket or tow.
