A season does not go by in Aspen without a community event to look forward to.
Kicking the year off in style is Aspen's WinterskölTM celebration in January toasting winter with artistic snow sculptures, fireworks and even a Canine Fashion Show! Enjoy fine food and wine? Then make plans to attend the annual FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen every June. Featuring food, wine, and spirit superstars, Aspen becomes the top destination to discover the latest in culinary trends. And Aspen's Old Fashion Fourth of July Celebration brings patriots old and young back to a time when neighbors and new friends gathered to commemorate the founding of our country. Closing out the summer season, art enthusiasts will enjoy a variety of mediums created by nearly 175 artists in Aspen's spectacular summer mountain setting during the Aspen Arts Festival in July.

12 Days of Aspen

To celebrate the holiday season, the Aspen Chamber Resort Association is hosting the 12 Days of Aspen. From December 20-31, downtown comes alive with a variety of FREE holiday activities, cookies, hot chocolate and much more! Come join the ACRA - and the entire Aspen community - in celebrating the winter season and the holidays with the 12 Days of Aspen!

Wintersköl, Aspen's annual "toast to winter," dates back to a quiet January in 1951 when local Aspenites decided to celebrate Aspen's unique Nordic lifestyle with an eclectic weekend of festivities. The four day celebration features on-mountain activities, Soupsköl, a canine fashion show, winterfest, fireworks, and much more.
FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen

One of the nations most prestigious epicurean events. Culinary stars show their passion for food, wine and entertaining. More than 300 Vintners pour premium wines complimented by specialty foods from around the world. Join leading chefs including Jacques Pépin, Michael Symon, Ming Tsai and noted wine authorities for three inspiring days of wine tastings, cooking demonstrations and special events.

Aspen celebrates Independence Day with a whimsical twist. Approximately 20,000 local residents and visitors come together to honor the nation's birthday in true American style. Festivities include a parade, live music, picnics, a kids carnival, and spectacular fireworks over Aspen Mountain.

For seven consecutive days, the world's top athletes race through the majestic Rockies, reaching higher altitudes than they've ever had to endure - more than two miles in elevation. One of the largest cycling events in United States history, the 2014 race will feature the best of the best in professional cycling, competing on a challenging course through some of America's most beautiful scenery.
